Sian Rule Yoga

Simple, effective Yoga for your health and fitness.

Child PostureFeel stiff or aching, disconnected from your body? Find it challenging to make a wide change of movements or getting into some yoga postures?

Enjoy holding postures for a few minutes at a time? Is your mind jam-packed like the M4 on a Friday evening? Need some time to yourself for your well-being?

Join me on Saturday 8th July 9.30 – 11.30am in the lovely Woolaston Memorial Hall, GL15 6NW for a Yin Yoga Session. I love Yin Yoga because the body is working hard, making changes on a deep level while you simply lie there and relax!

Of course it’s not as simple as that: because the effects go deep it can be challenging for body and mind (how long you stay in the posture is up to you!). The postures are held in a supportive way so the emphasis is on allowing the muscles, tendons and ligaments and fascia to let go of tightness and tension – that can challenge the mind to stay with the sensations we experience! But the benefits are great – increased flexibility (athletes find it so effective its practice is growing fast), finding a stillness within, better circulation and energy flow through the body so we feel refreshed and alive afterwards.

Start the weekend off beautifully with a deeply releasing yoga session and end with a lovely relaxation to leave you thoroughly refreshed!

£12 or bring someone new along for £10 each.

To book please reply to this email, tell me in class, or via 0787 257 1934.

I’m really looking forward to the next Saturday Yoga Session! I look forward to sharing it with you!

UPDATE:

Since we began, a lovely, friendly group of all ages and abilities has gathered and we’ve been thoroughly enjoying the light, airy hall and the almost reliable sun topping up the already warm space.

On warm, sunny days we’ve had the patio doors open letting the sunshine and birdsong in, and even on cooler days with the doors closed the hall space is so cheerfully painted that it still seems sunny!

If you’d like to join us – please pick up the phone or email Sian (sian@sianruleyoga.com) and join us 1pm Thursdays for Yoga that energises the body and calms the mind – you’ll  leave feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, ready for the rest of your busy week.
