Wales Retreat

14th to 18th August 2023

Join us for a 4 night, 5 day relaxing, fun, outdoor adventure weekend in the beautiful Cambrian Mountains of Mid Wales.

Yoga, qigong, hiking, meditation, mindfulness, nature connection, good conversation and great food!

We will stay spontaneous and flexible, depending on the weather and the wants and needs of the group. But an example of our day would be a morning practice of Kundalini/Hatha yoga/qigong/Energy Medicine, meditation & breathwork . Outside on the lawn if it’s sunny.

(fruit, juice, coffee, tea and snacks are available before we start)

Followed by brunch,  a 4 or 5 hour hike (we’ll take snacks with us), and a dip in a lake or waterfall for the adventurous amongst us

We’ll return to the Lodge for another yoga/qigong session.

Enjoy an early evening meal, followed by meditation/relaxation, or star gazing & conversation around the fire pit

The Cambrian Mountains

Considered to be Wales last true wilderness area.

Encircled by three national parks and steeped in Welsh history. the Cambrian Mountains lie at the very heart of Wales

Valleys, hills, meadows, plentiful wildlife, and the crystal clear waters of the lakes, rivers, and waterfalls make it a magical place that is a must to visit!

The Cambrian Mountains are also a designated dark sky area.  With the moon being at its darkest phase during our visit we will hopefully get some incredible views of the night sky!

In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks.

Your Instructors – Debbie & Sian

Debbie & Sian are both qualified yoga teachers, Energy Medicine practitioners lovers of the outdoors and adventure!! We have held Retreats in Germany, Austria, and the Isle of Wight. This will be our first…but not last! In our beautiful homeland of Wales.

Sian

Hi, I’m Siân, My passion is living a life of belonging, connection, and joy.

The fast pace of daily life in our society means we can easily become disconnected from meaningful connections with ourselves, nature, the elements, and the land. Understanding and using conscious, participatory practices in nature helps us heal and feel whole, calm, balanced, and fulfilled.

I love to share techniques from the yoga tradition and energy medicine and nature connection practices with ceremonies that unlock a world of possibilities in personal and spiritual transformation.

I am a Mum of three grown-up children and currently live and practice in the Wye Valley

I’m excited to share all these wonderful practices with you at our lovely Mountain Retreat in Wales

Debbie

Hi, I’m Debbie, I grew up with energy practices so it has been my passion for a long time.

My father Qigong teacher and senior instructor with the Tai Chi Boxing Association and taught us how to see and work with energy at an early age.

Our Mum was an Earth Goddess and took us outside at every possible opportunity! And I have her to thank for my love and deep connection to nature.

To this day I spend as much time outdoors as possible and truly believe that nature is our greatest teacher.

My classes are suitable for everyone and focus on awareness, breath, and subtle energies. I will often weave in tidbits from energy medicine that you can continue to use in your daily life after you return home

Teaching about the Five Elements is one of my favourite things to do! when we understand our own rhythm we intuitively start to live in harmony with our own cycles, and the greater cycles of nature

I look forward to welcoming you to our Retreat and sharing these amazing practices with you
