Friday 18th to Sunday 20th, September 2026
Hosted by Siân Rule @ Hill Farm, NP16 6ST

An all-inclusive 2 night weekend retreat into the leafy hills above the River Wye for a group of yogis to savour yoga, rest, relaxation and peace in nature.
Hill Farm is nestled into the hillside high above Tintern with amazing views to Tintern Abbey, surrounded by peaceful woods and winding paths to give you a retreat away from the busyness of the week.
The fully insulated yurts are cosily furnished with sheepskin rugs and blankets for nourishing sleep. They are set into the farm to make the most of the natural surroundings and all the ‘to dos’ dissolve away as you settle into a slower pace of the farm, yoga and relaxations.
Savour
Delicious, high quality, locally produced vegetarian food, where possible, is prepared and cooked by the exceptional in-house chef. Gorgeous, nutritious snacks and teas and coffee will recharge your energies in breaks.
Restore
With plenty of space to wander or sit and enjoy the stunning views over the woods and valley below, this retreat is all about rest, restoring your energies and body, mind and soul in the tranquility of nature. Depending on interest we have the option of a spa evening of a sauna, hot tub and plunge pool, and massages are available to book, which are paid for separately.
Indulge and Learn
Hill Farm has its own fully equipped yoga studio and forest yoga space (weather permitting) where we’ll dive deep into the ancient healing benefits of yoga through the postures, breathing techniques and meditations with an emphasis on the slowing down of the seasons, supporting our energies of change and gather for a special session of circle activities and journaling with a special guest facilitator.
Celebrate
As we approach the Autumn Equinox, we’ll celebrate the balance and gifts of light and dark, consider their part in our life and the yoga and energy medicine perspectives.
Accommodation
The choice is between cosy yurts with 2 or up to 4 beds with your friends, or we’ll partner you up with your new yurt buddies. A Shepherd’s Hut for 2 is a new addition or a Room with a View for 2 that has an en suite. Further accommodation are tents and a few campervans if you prefer.

Your Instructor – Siân Rule
Hi, I’m Siân. My passion is living a life of belonging, connection, and joy.
I’m a qualified yoga teacher, Energy Medicine practitioner and lover of the outdoors and adventure!! I’ve have held Retreats in Germany, Austria, and the Isle of Wight. This will be the first of many in my homeland of Wales!
The fast pace of daily life in our society means we can easily become disconnected from meaningful connections with ourselves, nature, the elements, and the land. Understanding and using conscious, participatory practices in nature helps us heal and feel whole, calm, balanced, and fulfilled.
I love to share techniques from the yoga tradition and energy medicine and nature connection practices with ceremonies that unlock a world of possibilities in personal and spiritual transformation.
I am a Mum of three grown-up children and currently live and practice in the Wye Valley
I’m excited to share all these wonderful practices with you at the Hill Farm Retreat in Tintern, Wales

The Wye Valley
Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty
The Wye Valley is one of the UK’s most striking landscapes, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty for its dramatic scenery, rich woodland and winding river views. Here, the River Wye carves its way through steep hillsides and ancient forest, creating a landscape that feels both expansive and deeply intimate.
Tintern sits at its heart, known for the haunting beauty of Tintern Abbey and its setting on the river bend below. Above it all, Hill Farm is tucked into the hillside, offering wide, uninterrupted views across valley, forest and sky.
This is a place where time naturally slows. Mornings feel quieter, evenings stretch longer, and even a simple walk becomes an invitation to notice more. It’s an ideal setting for stepping out of routine and into something more spacious, grounded and restorative.
“And into the forest I go, to lose my mind and find my soul.”
John Muir
