YOGA CLASSES  2020

Beginner’s Yoga Class

Monday mornings at Chepstow Yoga Space (above the Conservative Club in Moor Street) 9.30am-10.45am.

First Class £7.

A block of 6 classes is £48 and £10 drop-in.

It’s a Beginner’s Class but anyone is very welcome who would enjoy going over the basics of different poses eg forward bends, backward bends, twists as well as flowing movements, taking your time to find the optimum alignment and benefits for your body.

We’ll also look at how to breathe well for health and calmness and how to release tension from the body so we can move with ease, and prevent stress building up in body and mind.

Mats are provided. If you’re driving, please use the town car parks.

I’m looking forward to welcoming you there!

NB. Payment is separate from the classes below. A block of 6 classes is £48 and £10 drop-in.

WHAT’S IN A CLASS?

All Sian Rule Yoga classes are based on holistic Hatha Yoga combined with techniques from the Eden Method (from the traditions of Yoga and Traditional Chinese Medicine) which both help to unblock stuck energy and help us be happy and healthy.

Daily life is often full of speed, haste and effort and this can build up tensions and stress in body and mind. Classes are based on a slow, conscious, mindful approach to soothe the nervous system, reduce stress hormones and anxiety, increase awareness of the body and mind and bring calm and peace within.

Testimonials:

“The yoga class is just what I wanted. You give us pointers on how we can do things better. We really like the short meditations.” (GW)

  1. Hi Sian
I M 72 and suffering from random bouts of fatigue probably due to depression and stress. I have attended yoga classes but mostly for people aged over 50 and lasting for one and a quarter hours
Do you have classes for older people ?.
    Regards
    Evelyn

Thank you for your message. In my classes there are people of all ages including in their 70s. My Redwick, Woolaston and Shirenewton classes could be particularly suitable for you. If you’d like to try a class please come along and see if it suits you, you’d be very welcome!
      Many thanks and best wishes,
      Sian
