YOGA CLASSES  2018

Here’s to a wonderful year of yoga ahead!

2018 classes have got off to a great start. It’s lovely to see familiar faces back and to meet new yoga folk!

 If you’d like to have a dynamic practise in your week do join us at ‘Energising Yoga’ at 11.15am on Friday, or if you prefer a gentler approach join us at ‘Seated Yoga’, 1pm on Friday – both at Mathern Village Hall.

‘Energising Yoga’ is for those who like to hold stretches to go deeply and build up flexibility and strength. It’s great for those who enjoy sports or who love exploring how to extend their body’s and mind’s capabilities.

‘Seated Yoga’ is for those who prefer not to get down onto mat (though there is the option to do just that if your body wants to) but would like to do some gentle yoga in a chair and increase vitality and well-being. There’s an option to do some postures standing, to build up body and leg strength. Everyone is welcome: any age, fitness, ability, post illness or injury and whether you’ve done yoga before or would like to give it a go for the first time!

Be spontaneous – If one week you feel like taking another class to double the benefits – sometimes one practice just isn’t enough – just turn up to that class and I’ll adjust your total on the register accordingly.

2018 Yoga Classes

All classes are based on a broad spectrum of Hatha Yoga (the yoga mostly taught in the West), incorporating Eden Energy Medicine exercises to empower your practice. Both systems help energy to move in the body and together make an effective combination to enhance our health and well-being. Classes include postures, breathing techniques, guided meditations and relaxations suitable for all ages and experience. The exception is the Tuesday 8.05pm  class which is for those who have practised for at least a year and would like to do more.

If you’re new to Sian’s classes an introductory class is £7.

Please pay for your next block by the last class of your current block.
